I want to make a lot of people smile with chalk art
I am involved in art activities with the goal of "making many people smile through art."
I would like to continue creating chalk art based on the concepts of "gentle, soothing art" and "beautiful, stylish art."
What is chalk art?
Chalk art originated on the Gold Coast in Australia.
As the name suggests, this art form developed from the chalk drawings that were made on restaurant menu boards. Australian artist Monique Cannon has elevated it to colorful, warm pop art by drawing with her fingers on a blackboard using oil pastels.
Monique has developed her current chalk art technique through years of research and refinement in order to create eye-catching, striking signs.
Monique's chalk art has spread around the world, going beyond simple menu boards to become more emotive art.
Monique has created a new genre in the art world called "chalk art."
She is a wonderful artist whom I truly respect. I would like to share the chalk art that I inherited from Monique with many people.
I will continue to enjoy expressing myself and hope to convey the joy of chalk art through my heartfelt instruction.
We provide careful instruction to everyone from those who want to enjoy it as a hobby to those who want to learn seriously.

Monique hand lettering

Monique Cannon will teach you the basics of hand lettering, a technique she has developed over many years of experience.
This lettering goes well with chalk art, so this course is recommended for those with some chalk art experience.
Those without chalk art experience are also welcome to take this class.
