My Story of Chalkart...
I love traveling abroad and have been to many countries, including Australia, Italy, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Thailand, and Iceland.
My first encounter with chalk art was when I saw a chalk art sign during an extended stay in Australia.
The first time I travelled alone around Australia, I happened to come across a chalk art menu board.
It was displayed inside the cafe as a menu board.
"The pictures on the blackboard are colorful and dynamic. And they look delicious!"
As if drawn to the picture... I ordered a coffee. Before living in Australia, I had heard of chalk art, but I had never seen it in Japan, so the first thing I saw was "authentic Australian chalk art."
It had a strong impact on me.
After that, I stayed in Brisbane for a while and came across chalk art signs everywhere. I later found out that most of them were drawn by my teacher, Monique.
I started chalk art after I returned to Japan. I studied chalk art at a chalk art school in Japan. Then, three years later, I returned to Australia.
I finally met Monique. Monique is an artist and a mother, and she is always cheerful and fun.
I received a lot of techniques and power from her. I respect her very much as a mother and as an artist. I will continue to work hard to become a wonderful artist like Monique.
